Cats knows best when is about meditation, relaxing mind and body. They exactly know when to switch off the engine, and when they need to recharge the batteries. Purring, is their feline version for chanting, and although we do not know exactly why they do it, the effect is obvious, the whole world calm down around them, even us just being in their aura, and listening their monotone chant.

On my cat painting, a white cat having his usual catnap, surrounded with beautiful organic motifs of book illustrations from the 19th century Art Nouveau, and a hand painted mosaic silver frame create a unique peaceful scene.
