Description
Hearts and Tails – Cat Art by Dora Hathazi Mendes, Cats of Karavella Collection.
A thank you message with two lovely cats eating from their food bowls, in front of a giant red heart. The black and white tuxedo cat, and the white cat curling together their tails, symbolize their unity and brotherhood. Decorated with an Art Deco Flower motif from a XIX. Century English book illustration.
This painting was inspired by a photograph of one of my dear collector, a lovely image about his cats, the tuxedo Oliver and the recently adopted white cat, Mr. Hoover peacefully eating together. The original painting is not available for sale, as it was a present to show my gratitude.
