Something new and modern this time about Portugal and Lisbon. I already painted before the 25 De Abril Bridge, so I thought it is the high time to see what I can do about the Vasco Da Gama Bridge in Lisbon. This bridge is so long, that each time we cross it with car, I am always like wow this is so cool, and I normally I even hold my breath when we reach the pillars. It is always spectacular to see Lisbon from far away, and the different weather conditions, or different time of the day, always result in an amazing experience.
The Ponte Vasco Da Gama is 17 km (11 miles) long, and 10km from it is above the Tagus River, or how called locally the RioTejo. The bridge connects Lisbon (Sacavém) with Montijo on the other side of the Tagus river.
In the time of inauguration, it was the longest bridge in Europe and till today is one of the longest bridge of the world.
