My original handmade watercolor painting about the Palacio de Monserrate in Sintra Portugal.
When we think about Sintra, we all associate with the exquisitely beautiful Pena Palace, but there is also a hidden gem, the Monserrate Palace, which also worth the visit. The classical English style park and the 19th century villa is a masterpiece of the true romantic architecture, which draw inspiration from the Arabic Style, and exotic ideas.

A brightly colored architectural structure of this beautiful palace with detailed arches stands amidst lush greenery, bathed in gentle sunlight, painted with soft pastel tones. Tall palm tree and verdant plants enhance the serene ambiance.

The painting was inspired by my own photograph which I took there in 2009, when I was expecting my first baby boy.
