Morning At Porto Novo Beach. Original Watercolor painting by Dora Hathazi Mendes.
The Praia de Porto Novo in Portugal, located near Torres Vedras, Santa Cruz, in a cove, surrounded by high cliffs. The Alcabrichel river meets here with the Atlantic Ocean, a popular beach, but still not overcrowded. A magical, very pleasant destination for surfers and families, while the sandy beach is protected by the rocks from the fresh wind of the Atlantic Ocean, but still offer the full force of the water to the surfers.
My watercolour painting aimed to depict the calm hours of the summer mornings, before the tourists arrives to enjoy this hidden paradise.
