"MacGyver Lloyd Mason (yes, MacGyver was his first name—it’s a long story) broke into our home (literally, through the heating ducts) and into our hearts in December of 2009. He loved car rides through campus, his woobie, hunting bunnies (and mice, and squirrels, and occasionally birds,) but most of all he loved people.
He once was arrested by university police, once fought a car and survived, and was later diagnosed with aggressive skin cancer and spent his last days wandering, resting, and being pampered by his family.
A vast, cat-shaped hole has opened in the universe, as Lloyd crossed the rainbow bridge today. He will be missed."
