Description
The nickname Big Ben is often referred to the whole tower at the north end of the Palace of Westminster in London which currently called Elizabeth Tower, but the nickname actually only for the bell of the clock tower. At the time when the bell was introduced in the British Isles, Big Ben was the world biggest and largest bell, and the people liked to nickname huge bells, but today is kind of a mystery from who came the name Ben.
My watercolour painting shows together the three famous landmark of todays London, the Big Ben with the part of the Westminster Abby, and the London Eye. All three are the must visit places category of the capital city, London. The painting is the part of my The Eye of a Traveller Collection.
