Featured 2 times Caru cu Bere - Antique Shop Sign by Dora Hathazi Mendes

An antique gilded wrought iron shop sign which shows a cat, a dragon, with a lighting, from an amazingly decorated famous restaurant and bar in Bucharest the Caru cu Bere, in English the Beer Cart or Beer Wagon. The sign is from the front door of the gothic revival building with breath taking Art Nouveau interior, designed by an Austrian architect Siegfrid Kofczinsky in 1899. Situated in Lipscani district a must see, must try place in the capital city of Romania. The painting is the part of my The Eye of a Traveller Collection.
